Benefited from the stimulating intellectual environment and a strong emphasis on scientific inquiry, a proportion of CUHK psychology graduates chooses to do further studies in academic research or professional psychology. However, CUHK psychology offers trainings of a myriad of transferable skills that prepare our students to excel across industry sectors. In particular, we focus on critical thinking, analytical and data management skills, interpersonal and communication skills, care for the society and respect for diversity. These are essential attributes and abilities that are highly valued in whatever our graduates set their mind on doing upon graduation. We have seen graduates utilising these competencies in the government and disciplinary forces, welfare and educational organisations, finance and commercial settings, art and creative industry, or as entrepreneurs. We are proud of our graduates who contribute their mind and soul to the betterment of the society in various ways.
